ultra-quick solution to combat price hike!!

This was a suggestion by Cho S Ramaswamy in one of the articles in Thuqlak a couple of decades back.

When asked “how to manage the price rise?” (seems to be an eternal question), Cho replied “If I were the government, I will declare that with immediate effect 100 ml will be known as a litre and 100 grams as a kilogram”

If this were implemented, 1 litre of petrol will now cost only Rs.7.50 in chennai and 1 kg of rice will cost just Rs.4.  If you are still wondering what will be the mileage that one can get from this new litre of petrol, remember that simultaneously 100 ms has been renamed as 1 km!!

I just hope Jaipal Reddy doesn’t get to know this blog post!!

Jokes apart, why cannot there be rationing of Petrol and Diesel ?

And why can’t adulteration (not adultery !) of such products be encouraged by the Government itself using some European Technology and thus somehow manage the situation profitably ?

    Thus Spake N Ra !

Maybe we can expect that pricing as a freebie in next election
