It takes no time at all

Yesterday, my wife complained about the foul smell in the water and asked me to get the water tank cleaned. It was not the first time she has said that in the recent past but I had always put it off for some other time.

The moment she said that, I took action by calling the plumber who said that he will be around in a couple of hours. Normally his “couple of hours” would be a few days and that too after some reminders but y’day he really meant his word.

He came with his helper, got on the job right away, drained the tank, cleaned it and applied bleaching powder. We switched on the motor and with that water, he removed the traces of the bleaching powder and within an hour’s time, the tank was ready to use.

What I really experienced is that when I take action with a strong intention, external elements rearrange themselves to deliver on that intention.

Its all about genuinely and seriously taking a stance or a stand in your language and then taking action on it or rather converting the thought into action, however insignificant and trivial the whole task might be !

And more importantly it is all about walking the talk, and not just talking while walking which everyone does these days using the Mobile Phones, never minding even the pot holes and lamp posts on the way !
